The American Dream

If there is something the majority of people living in the U.S and people outside our country have in common it has to be the American dream. However the ultimate goal as the American dream can vary from person to person depending on culture, location, way of life, resources, personal interests and will. Some people are looking to get rich fast and have houses, cars and all the money they can get as fast as they can. Others might just be looking to have the necessary things to live or other people might just want to be famous and be known worldwide. Many people are lucky and achieve the American dream with little effort but other people have to work hard for it or so that their descendants will make the dream come true. In my personal opinion the American dream is difficult to make come true in the economic situation the nation is facing at this time still it can be accomplished. My American dream is to be successful by living not a perfect life but a life full of happiness. I want to live my life without worrying about my financial status. I want to feel economically stable, having a job in a career that I will enjoy each and everyday, living in a beautiful home and in a location where I can feel safe knowing that my family will be safe and respected by nearby residents. A big part of my dream is to be a very successful individual by achieving personal happiness becoming an excellent wife and an admirable mother living a peaceful yet exciting life. I wish to spend my life with a person who is respectful and treats me the way I deserve, someone who will take care of me and bring happiness to my life day after day. I want to be a dependable woman who is trustworthy and can be counted on.
